Backstage Academy of Performing Arts / 24.01.12

Backstage, nationally recognised for it's  performing arts work with young people, opens a Performing Arts Academy at the Millennium Forum on Sundays from 2pm-5pm beginning with an Open Day on 22nd Jan.
During the three hour session each week,students will undertake three workshops on a range of subjects ranging from acting, mime and comedy to singing,musical theatre,dance(hip-hop/street/jazz) and acting for film/TV.
The Open Day on 22nd Jan. allows prospective students the opportunity  to come along and experience the work of the company before enrolling.Entry to the Open Day is free of charge but you must arrive on time and be prepared to stay for the three hours.A parent should accompany under 12's to and from the Open Day but will not be required to stay during the session.No need to book in advance for the Open Day-just come along.
