 Well known local and international evangelist, Pastor James McConnell and the Metropolitan Church, Belfast, are bringing their nationwide gospel campaign to the Waterside Theatre.

The Hope, Now and Forever crusade has already been held in other parts of the province and the line up includes the Tabernacle Worship Band, Tom Patterson, Pierced and Simple Faith.

Commenting on the Waterside event, Pastor McConnell said: "The City of Londonderry has always been of interest to me as a preacher. For nine years we had our own church there during the years of the 'Troubles' and we are delighted to be returning"

Pastor McConnell, who started his North Belfast church with just 10 people back in 1957, today has a worldwide ministry due to the Whitewell television ministry, although he continues to preach faithfully every week to his Belfast congregation.
