If you would like to discover more about the River Foyle and all its wonderful wildlife why not take a trip to the Riverwatch Aquarium and Visitor Centre situated at Prehen, opposite the Everglades Hotel.

Riverwatch is a great attraction and with FREE admission it’s a must do for families and schools. The aquariums represent the freshwater and marine species native to our own waters. So if you have every wondered what lives beneath the surface then Riverwatch can be your window to a wonderful underwater world.

We have lobster, crabs, starfish, coalfish, blenny’s and lots of other unusual marine fish and crustaceans in our lough life and seashore life tanks. Come and see salmon, sticklebacks, minnows, roach and other freshwater fish in the stream life, lake life and pond life tanks. And, we are continually changing our livestock so it’s always worth another trip!
