The Big Flame Festival marks a once in a lifetime opportunity to host the London Olympic Torch Relay in the city and a full range of family friendly recreational, sporting and cultural activities has been designed to mark the celebration. Taking place over the Queens Jubilee Bank Holiday, some of the scheduled events include a Carnival Parade, Oylmpic Sports taster activities, a Comic Art Competition, annual Carnival of Colours festival and outdoor music events to name a few.
